Our Ministries

As a neighborhood church that has met since 1947, SPPC strives to respond to community needs such as food security, housing, and childcare with the clarity and love of our Savior. If you are in need of services, would like to volunteer, or want to join the movement of neighbors being neighbors, here are some amazing ministries we partner with!

Growing Neighbors

Partnering with local organizations in growing relationships and produce with our neighbors to encourage healthier lifestyles. The primary goal is developing “Neighborhood Families”. We want to see neighbors sharing meals and resources, using their gifts to care for each others’ needs and generally functioning like an extended family.

Caritas Food Bank

Established in 1992, Caritas Food Bank is an ecumenical nonprofit seeking to serve neighbors in need by providing food, hygiene supplies, fuel vouchers/bus passes, and utility assistance.
We covenant to serve clients without prejudice or discrimination and to preserve their dignity.
